A lower-middle class sector of Tiantang known for its active commercial life. Zuihou is legally independent, but is de facto a Nation's Solution sector, with Doctor Yeh as its Chief Sector Officer. None of the Tongs have an established presence in Zuihou, but both the Zhui and the Hwang are interested in establishing a presence; however Yeh is willing to enter into formal business partnerships with them rather than allow gang warfare to break-out.
Mindshops are common in Zuihou. There are rumours that The Ruins, a pre-Labyrinth cluster of habitats exist somewhere in the Zuihou orbit.
Unexplained Events[]
There are a number of unexplained events in Zuihou sector.
There are concerns about Space Ferry Route #33-5635D, related to a number of incidents which have occurred on the route.
There are rumours of an effect known as ORKEO, which is associated with mysterious encounters in the section.
There are a number of unexplained abductions, with associated torture, which are attributed to The Presence on the Guolietown second gyro-zhan.
Districts[]
Some of the residential and commercial areas in Zuihou - including gyro-zhans - are formal districts, with extensive, formally unincorporated space slums making up the remainder.
Guolietown[]
Consisting of three gyro-zhans, Guolietown is inhabited largely by immigrants from Guo li, a Nation's Solution region.
The Old Districts[]
The undeveloped space slums are considered a single district by the Zuihou leadership, and are known as the Old Districts.
Container AG021, also known as Xon's Market, is located in the Old Districts, and is now the site of a cable cluster after Kwang Lu's warehouse for his ill-fated enterprise, Connected LTD, exploded.
The Taijitu Complex, which is close to the Old Districts, is currently the site of a conflict. Informal squatters, who have been there for more than one hundred years, are blocking the expansion of the facility. The owners are Taijitu Corp, a front for the Zhui Tong, and they are hiring mercenaries to remove the settlers, whilst the Hwang Tong are looking for people willing to defend them, and prevent Zhui expansion.
The ancient church of Hexia, founded by T'sau Yulung, is located in the Old Districts, and rumoured to hold the map to locate an undiscovered Jiu mine.
The Serpent Staff Tenements[]
A subsidiary of The Union, Serpent Staff, is converting space slums into affordable housing, and using it to instigate civil unrest between residents of the SS Tenements and Nation's Solution.
